A clear, guided journey — from first question to Green Card.

Eight steps, honest timelines, and an advisor beside you at every one.

The EB-5 journey

Many families worry that EB-5 is complicated. It doesn't have to be. We break the process into eight clear steps and stay beside you at every one — from your first consultation to your family's permanent residency, and beyond.

Eight steps
01

Consultation & eligibility review

We understand your goals and profile, and explain the current picture honestly.

02

Project selection

Compare qualifying offerings and review immigration, securities, financial, and conflict disclosures with independent advisers.

03

Source-of-funds documentation

Prepare and organise evidence of the lawful source and path of funds for review by your immigration attorney.

04

Investment & I-526E filing

You invest and file your EB-5 petition with USCIS.

05

Conditional Green Card

After petition approval and successful adjustment of status or consular processing, the investor and eligible derivatives may receive two-year conditional permanent residence.

06

Relocation support

We help your family settle into your chosen U.S. city.

07

Business acquisition (optional)

Identify and acquire a running U.S. business or franchise.

08

Permanent residency & citizenship

Timely file Form I-829 to seek removal of conditions. Eligible permanent residents may later apply for naturalization; it is not automatic.

What determines timing
Stage Main timing factors
Select project and prepare supporting documents Family readiness, lawful-source evidence, advisers, and project documents
File I-526E — Rural set-aside (priority) USCIS gives rural petitions statutory priority processing; no fixed completion time
File I-526E — High-Unemployment Area USCIS petition processing and reserved-visa availability
File I-526E — Unreserved USCIS processing plus India’s unreserved Visa Bulletin dates
Consular processing in India (NVC, medical, interview) NVC document review, interview capacity, admissibility, and visa availability

There is no reliable universal EB-5 timeline. Check current USCIS processing information and the monthly Visa Bulletin with your attorney.

Source of funds, simply

U.S. authorities require clear documentation showing a lawful source of funds. Preparing that record correctly is where experienced coordination matters most. The Calculus helps organise the record; your immigration attorney determines the legal evidence required.
